I remember meeting my Aunt Darlene when I was 15 and just had started high school. She was so energetic and full of life. She drove my sister and me around San Francisco in her little MG sports car and showed us the sights. She introduced us to quiche lorraine and chocolate mousse and such adjectives as, "luscious" and "succulent" and "exquisite". Throughout the years she has sent beautiful cards to my family to celebrate the holidays. We always looked forward to getting and displaying each one.
